As the italians say, “power when you need it”
Bianchi have revealed their latest eBike the Bianchi Aria eRoad featuring a EBIKEMOTION system. Surprisingly this isn’t their first electric road bike with their first being the Impulso eRoad which was revealed late last year.
This model however builds off Bianchi’s Aria road bike model and implements the X35 V.2 eBike system from EBIKEMOTION. It’s a 36V system that features a 250W rear hub motor and a 250Wh battery fitted with Panasonic cells. This is the same system used on the Orbea Gain Carbon which was recently announced, and other big name road eBikes.
The Bianchi Aria eRoad looks like it will only be released in Europe for now with one build configuration. This build will use the latest Shimano Ultegra 11-speed groupset and Vision Trimax alloy wheels. Seven sizes will be available and Bianchi have provided a geometry chart of it (see below). More details expected to come like pricing and availability in the US and Australia. For more information, check out Bianchi’s sites here and here.
